A CEDS is a regional economic development plan. Adopting a CEDS helps set a course for economic development efforts and can also open opportunities for additional federal funding. The primary purpose of this CEDS is to improve the economic prosperity and resilience of the region. CCRPC is working with partners to develop a CEDS for West Central Vermont. The West Central Vermont region includes Addison County, Central Vermont (Washington County and three Orange County towns), Chittenden County, and Rutland County.
